Page Layout Designing
Title Tag
Every page should have a title tag with suitable text line addressing to a particular webpage.
Meta Tags
At least two meta tags i.e. description and keywords are essential to have for each webpage. Meta description tag describes the webpage in detail, giving visitors more information about that webpage. Meta keyword tag to be placed with proper keywords addressing to a particular webpage or theme (based on what keywords will help visitors to locate this webpage).
Consistency
Try to maintain consistency in page structure, folder structure, usage of fonts, styling & colors. Keep all Images, CSS, Javascript in different folders as external files. See that content displayed on webpage are readable. For images, place proper IMG ALT tags representing that image. Use optimized images helping it download quicker.
Navigation Menu
Fit all the pages as per planned site architecture in navigation menu bar. See that each webpage links with maximum number of other webpages as possible. Try to keep menu items as text links instead of image links. (Next)
