How Search Engine Works
As discussed earlier, search engine is nothing, but an automated computer program that queries its database and displays most relevant web pages as per keywords or key-phrases entered by user. It doesn’t search the entire web for relevant web pages but look into its own database that stores information of every website or web pages indexed by them.
An automated search engine constitutes of Robots, Indexer, Search Algorithms and Query Maker.
Robots search World Wide Web for newer websites (or web pages) or existing web pages having updated content. Indexer does the job of arranging all this information about websites in proper order and stored into its database. Search Algorithms are complex formulas, build around various factors, criterias and preferences with composite arithmetic and logical calculations. This algos may differ from search engine to search engine and kept as secret. Talking about important elements that can effect search engine results can be title tags, meta description tags, ALT tags, hyperlink text, back-links, Page Rank (for google), indexed pages, keyword density, keyword prominence, keyword proximity, LSI etc. Query Maker make use of this defined algorithms to display relevant search engine result pages (SERP) to user based on search term entered.

- Title Line - Text appears mostly from title tag of a website
